The hotel was charming old and tidy inside, I greatly enjoyed it. The staff was efficient, provided a friendly check-in and a late check-out. I booked a well-appointed and reasonably priced room complete with 2 double beds, great aircon, shower.

Location
room size too small and needs refurbishment. even trying to boil the jug and make coffee in that small beverage section was difficult. but otherwise satisfactory and suited purpose. Not big enought for two.

Great Spot Near Historical Art Museum 🎨
This place has a fantastic location near an old art museum that was built in the 19th century. the building is modern and the rooms are new and come with a balcony, all equipped with everything you need.

Having booked a Classic Twin through Booked.net, I had expected a standard hotel room. The room we were allocated on arrival was very basic, so I questioned this with hotel staff. Apparently, Classic, is what they call their Economy rooms. We were offered an upgrade for a small additional cost and the room we received was of a significantly higher standard. The Classic rooms would be sufficient for a one night stay, but I would definitely recommend choosing the next level up if possible. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay and we would definitely stay at the Mercure Grosvenor again.
